Our board certified radiologists combine their knowledge of veterinary medicine with state-of-the-art imaging equipment to help general practitioners and other veterinary specialist diagnose and treat our veterinary patients. Our staff has invaluable expertise and understanding of numerous imaging modalities to provide the best diagnostic plan for your pet. A collaborative team approach is the fundamental basis behind the treatment and care of all our patients.

Professional Experience

Following her residency, Dr. O’Dell-Anderson stayed on at the University of Illinois as a professor of veterinary radiology before returning to Saint Louis.

Kristen O’Dell-Anderson

Dr. Kristen O’Dell-Anderson is originally from the Lake of the Ozarks. She completed her undergraduate studies and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Missouri in 2001. After graduation she completed a rotating small animal internship at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital, a private specialty & emergency practice in Denver, Colorado. Following her internship, Dr. O’Dell-Anderson practiced for one year as a small animal veterinarian in her hometown Camdenton, Missouri. She then completed a three-year residency and Master of Science degree in Diagnostic Imaging at the University of Illinois. Following her residency, Dr. O’Dell-Anderson remained on staff at the University of Illinois as a professor of veterinary radiology before returning to Missouri in 2008.

DesChene Brochtrup

DVM, Diplomate ACVR

DesChene (DC) Brochtrup, DVM, DACVR graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. After finishing veterinary school, DesChene practiced in the St. Louis area for five years including equine ambulatory medicine, small animal and exotic general practice, and small animal emergency medicine. She completed a three-year residency in 2012 in Diagnostic Imaging and Radiology at Kansas State University. DesChene has been a mobile veterinary radiologist in the St. Louis area since 2012. She lives on a small family farm near Festus, Mo which she shares with her husband, James, two loving dogs, a “mostly” heeler, Esso, and a “full crasy “ red heeler, Huck, three horses, cows, bees, and a menagerie fowl. She is a member of AVMA, MVMA, GSLVMA, and ACVR.
