No appointment is required, though a phone call to let us know you are coming is appreciated! Pets don’t live by a clock or calendar. We get it, we have pets too!

If your pet develops an emergency, care should not be delayed. Our emergency facility is available to pet owners in the evenings, overnights and on holidays when your regular vet is closed, to provide prompt veterinary care and give your pet the best chance of a successful recovery. Veterinarians throughout our community frequently refer emergency cases to our facility because we provide exceptional diagnostic services, along with overnight supervision and monitoring of critically ill pets.

The emergency staff at VSS includes board-certified specialists in veterinary emergency and critical care.  They work with a team of emergency veterinarians, supported by specially trained technicians, who are available around the clock to examine, diagnose and treat your pets.
